Writers Club
The Writers Club was founded in 2006 by a group of seniors who wanted a place to share their writing. Over time, it became populated by additional seniors as well as many curious freshmen. Writers Club was and is a place that we can truly be ourselves and display our talents. Even if you do not write much, all are welcome to sit in and listen. Opinions and ideas are always encouraged, and a sense of humor is practically required.
Now in its 2nd year as an official club, its senior founders have gone on to bigger things. Now the club is populated and run by the now dedicated sophomores. We cherish the coziness and friendliness of the club. Our friendship is not just confined to the meeting room. We are a very close knit bunch, which makes us more comfortable and confident in our work. We are always open to new people and ideas. We are open to new members at anytime of the year.
Writers Club is home to many talented young women, including writers of poetry, plays, songs, and movie scripts. A few of our members have entered themselves into contests and have succeeded. Each has her own style of writing, and all are open to new sounds and experiences.
All in all, Writers Club is a fun and soothing way to end a school day. We want our members to look forward to the next meeting. We make it our mission that all leave with a smile on their face and a story in their heart.
Everyone has a story. All you have to do is write it.
